This does look pretty nice. Very atmospheric graphics and the puzzles are overall pretty good. I would consider backing, but I just don’t Indiegogo.

I liked the demo, i hope the character will move across the screen and Voices if any will be full of dread and macabre.
I have been very excited for this game, but the demo was a bit concerning. The puzzles were all extremely obvious and very casual. The story and writing felt shallow and cheesy, the puzzles weren’t really a natural part of the scene or story, it was basically like a really awesomely illustrated casual game. I guess I just had a different idea in my head what kind of adventure game it was going to be. I was hoping for more of a suspenseful, immersive experience to match the visuals, like Darkseed or something.
This has been out for backers for a few days now. I played a couple of hours yesterday and I’m really pleasantly surprised. I backed at a minimal amount just to get the game, thinking the art style looked cool but didn’t expect much more than RockNFknRoll above.
At first I was annoyed by the lack of voice acting and the low-key music, which felt at odds with the macabre setting, but by the end of the part that the demo consists of, I was fully immersed. I’m eager to continue playing today.
It’s still the case that most of the puzzles are of the casual variety, in that they’re not very difficult and not very well integrated into the story, although there are a few exceptions. It’s not bothering me, though, the atmosphere is simply too awesome to let that get in the way.
The game also jumps the “moral choices” bandwagon. So far they have all been about left or right, good or evil, save or leave to die. Not very compelling. But in this grim world, who knows what will turn out to be the “right” choice. I’ll definitely be replaying the game and try the other choices as well. Something tells me the “darker” choices might actually be more interesting.
Hi everyone.
Tormentum - Dark Sorrow is now available on Steam (also as free demo) and on Humble Bundle Store
Thanks everybody for supporting the project in Indiegogo and in comments

As previously stated, it might be a bit light in the animation and puzzle departments (although the latter actually had its moments) but the graphics and the game world really made this a pure joy to play. I enjoyed it a lot.
