Adventure Game Scene of the Day — Thursday 19 June 2014
Last night I replayed parts of Kama Sutra (1998) in search of an inoffensive screenshot that isn’t already on sites like Adventure Legends and Mobygames. It’s a fun but totally forgettable and very short adventure game with nice backgrounds and lots of naked people doing stuff with each other. No animations, only tastefully drawn stills. My favorite puzzle is matching heroine Parva in 12 different positions with 20 men in different positions. Too bad I can’t show any of those!
The one thing that really annoyed me is that Parva keeps her mouth open all the time, even when she’s not using it. I guess I understand why the artist wanted to make her look like a total nitwit, but her friend’s male friend looks like an idiot too.
The game has been released in many languages, but to the best of my knowledge English is not one of them. Doesn’t matter much, it’s fairly easy to understand what is expected of the player.
