Today’s shot is from Hugo 3: Jungle of Doom (1992), the third game in the series where Hugo has to save Penelope from a venomous bite in the Amazon jungle. Does anyone see the problem with the above screenshot and the location?

I don’t really know what people saw in these games, but a lot of people seem to like them. They have an old school Sierra feel to them I guess, so perhaps it’s just nostalgia or something.

They’re pretty goofy and the low production values give it an earnest charm. I played the Hugo games in the mid 90s when I had already exposed myself to superior adventures but they did have a certain something to make them stand out. So bad it’s good maybe?

No elephants in the amazon? I’ve never played the Hugo games, but I did hear about them - from here probably. They’re on the maybe one day list.

The real problem with reality is the lack of background music.

No. His shit excrement is.

City kids, they never saw an elephant dumping in a creek.

And elephants don’t casually sit down on their butts Grin
I got stuck on the bridge screen as a kid and gave up. Must be a funny game.
