Adventure Game Scene of the Day — Wednesday 4 December 2013
If you like old school Sierra games you might like Earthrise (1990). It uses the same interface with a direct controlled character and a text parser. It also features lots of death. I’m getting killed by the spider above and will soon join the other body in the web.
Wow, those are some ugly graphics. Looks like they were made by a 8-year-old in MS Paint…

Sometimes I think my 20/20 hindsight is closer to 20/200. I look fondly back at some of these games without remembering how truly ugly they were.
