“Blood was its Avatar and its seal — the redness and the horror of blood.”—Edgar Allan Poe

As the above quote is a rather fitting description of the last 31 days of Goregasm, it is only appropriate that I end with a screen from a game based on the works of its author. That game is The Dark Eye (1995), a very unique and atmospheric horror adventure game with puppets serving as the characters in Poe’s macabre stories.

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoyed my tour of the dark side of the adventure genre and wish everyone an awesome Halloween. I’m going to do what I do every year and try to give myself a good case of theobromine poisoning.

Well done! Thumbs Up

(and congratulations for the month in general. I hope you continue with “theme” months.)

the last 31 days of Goregasm…

... were gruesome but wholesome & educating (you really KNOW how to pick your screenshots), so from me.

The Dark Eye (1995), a very unique and atmospheric horror adventure game with puppets serving as the characters in Poe’s macabre stories.

One of the most interesting games I have played, and one of my favo(u)rites, of course.

I am a bit squeamish about blood and gore, but I still enjoyed seeing what you came up with this month.  I’ve moved The Dark Eye up in my game-playing queue.  It’s one I’ve been meaning to play for a long time.

Chocolate:  It’s not just for breakfast.

Carpe chocolate.

Thanks Bastich for your month of interesting gory pictures! It did include a couple of games I had played where the scene was an isolated incidence in the game so hope it doesn’t put people off playing them! While I’m here I’ll just say that I’m very much enjoying AG Scene of the Day - it’s a ‘must look at’ every day for me & appreciate your opinion/description!
