I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream (1995) is another of my favorite games. It’s twisted and dark and has a wide variety of locales and characters to play as. It’s somewhat similar to Sanitarium in that respect. There is always something new and somebody new to explore and nothing is more fun to me than tinkering around in other people’s messed up psyches. It’s a game I heartily recommend.

Highly recommended but not for the faint of heart. I played it when it was new and I was young, and some parts made me feel physically ill. It’s not a gore fest, it’s just a disturbingly effective “psychological” game.

There should be a community playthrough of this game

Gorrister chapter was definitely the goriest so far, but still 2 or more chapters to go.
