Adventure Game Scene of the Day — Wednesday 10 July 2013
Days of Oblivion (1996) is what I imagine happened when someone in the porn industry played Under a Killing Moon and thought they could do the same. Real-time 3D environments? Check! FMV? Check! Futuristic setting? Check! Corny humor? Check! Quality game? No.
The game did well enough to get a sequel though, so what do I know?
It’s like Zork: Nemesis with an ugly interface and badly-pasted FMV on top…
The lighting’s all wrong in the FMV…
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka

That’s just one of the puzzles. You’re required to drink a “turn me blue” potion so the skulls don’t see you.
I was trying to see how this game plays but I can only find videos of the second game
So bad it’s funny!

Simply epic. Possibly the worst death scene in the AG history.

The first game is exactly the same as far as acting quality. In fact, the Elvis character in that video is the cab driver who drives you around town in the first game.
Wow! That is so laughably painful!
Carpe chocolate.
!!!! (I’m speechless…)
Duckman: Can you believe it? Five hundred bucks for a parking ticket?
Cornfed Pig: You parked in a handicapped zone.
Duckman: Who cares? Nobody parks there anyway, except for the people who are supposed to park there and, hell, I can outrun them anytime.
