The troll reminds me of Toadwart from Gummy Bears: http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Toadwart

Wow, the original must have been among the last ZX Spectrum games to be released, if it really was published in 1994 like Wikipedia suggests.

Good luck with the project.

Yes it was really one of the last games developed for Spectrum Laughing

By that time, we already knew the platform through-and-through and were able to beat out Pan from the poor old Spectrum quite impressive graphical results Wink

We really Heart this game and would be very happy if we could make that remake a reality.

Here is a preview of the first room, how it looked then, and how it looks now:

Thank you for your support Kasper! Smile

But we cannot see your name amongst the backers - did you back the project under a different name?

From what I can tell, Kasper never claimed to have backed it, but Quest1 did Wink

Duckman: Can you believe it? Five hundred bucks for a parking ticket?
Cornfed Pig: You parked in a handicapped zone.
Duckman: Who cares? Nobody parks there anyway, except for the people who are supposed to park there and, hell, I can outrun them anytime.

looks like a platformer to me, not really a graphic adventure game, is that correct?
Good luck, regardless Smile

Max: Right! We’ll travel through this dimensional portal on the top of the bar!
Sam: That’s spilled beer, rockhead.
Max: Oh in that case ...

Reminds me of Goblins games, not sure if there is anything similar in reality. Nice to get the game with £5 though, might actually put that out there.

It is a bit of both - hard to categorise it.

You do a lot of jumping around, that is true. But there is also a logical element to it, conversations with characters, using of items… If you know DIZZY series, you are almost there.

It has certainly a very peculiar sense of humour in it, just like the Goblins Laughing

Back us and you will see! Wink

This is a small taste of what the finalised Kitchen location will look like in the actual game.

Click on this link and scroll down to the section ABOUT THE GAME to see the animated scenery

Of course, this animation (being a gif picture) is only in 256 colours and has just 6 phases. The actual game locations will be displayed in true colour, and the animations will be a great deal more refined.

@Towdie, I’ve just looked at the kickstarter and what’s really missing is an example of Towdie’s gameplay. You do show a few screen but in those screens Towdie is just passing through, there are no puzzle and no real example of the sense of humour.

I also think that the video should start with this, because it’s based on that if people will back or not.
