I like how this game spits in the fat stupid face of the established way of designing adventure games. You have timed sections and unwinnable states and it’s all executed very effectively. It’s so much more tense than the average adventure game!

Platform: DS, iPad, iPhone/iPod Touch

Thumbs Up

One day I will be not arrogant enough to refuse to buy a new shiny piece of equipment to play a new game, but not today.

But.. Tmovieman likes it?  Gasp

Unique design, original story, and several great characters (Missile was hilarious).

A great game, yet something felt *off* and for some reason that I can’t really explain, I didn’t like this game as well as I should have. The thing is, I can’t quite put my finger on WHY that is… Confused

You have the ability to go back in time. Its “unwinnable states” (which I definitely wouldn’t call ‘dead ends’) are as unwinnable as in The Last Express… Wink

You have the ability to go back in time.

You mean like a “restore game” button? Tongue

A real DS gem. Another one.

Unique design, original story, and several great characters (Missile was hilarious).

And don’t forget the amazing animations. The best in any adventure game.

It’s a great game and it’s made by the same guy that made the Phoenix Wright games.

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

You haven’t played the Last Express, so how would you know??

I have bought it several months ago, and I booted it up to see if it worked (which it did). I spent half an hour with it, just to get a feel for it, before I tackle it head-on.
So yeah, I know about the rewinding time mechanism… Tongue

I thought we were talking about winnable/unwinnable and now I’m lost somewhere between windable, unwindable, rewindable and unrewindable… it’s okay though, don’t explain.
