I know The Journeyman Project 2 is supposed to be a great game, and I really want to get into it (and the series) at some point, but it sure has one of the ugliest interfaces ever. Meh

I’ll second that.

The interface may not be pretty, but it has Arthur!

Ugh. I was going to mention Dark Side of the Moon and Psychic Detective but I think that beats all of them!

Luckily bad interface doesn’t mean bad game. It sure didn’t with JP2.

The interface does take a while to get used to, but the game is great! Even if I have only made it through half of it…

The real problem with reality is the lack of background music.

I HATE blabbermouth Arthur with his hints and his tsjirp-tsjirp chattering. Good thing you can turn him off.

PS: I haven’t played the Daedalus Encounter either, it’s on my to-be-played list. I do want to play it because it’s FMV, but is it any good?

With the exception of the most horrible maze ever (that you have to cross twice!!) and the fact that sometimes the acting quality is plain awful (its ok most of the time though), I found the riddles very good, and challenging and generally, its concept really well presented.

Hmmm…the first time was in a Win 95 a loooong time ago. I re-tried it rescently in a Win-98 emulated environment and it worked fine (I think there were some minor issues (QuickTime probably?) that were easily solved).
