Why do some of the objects on the screenshot have a black outline, while most others don’t???
An equivalent of a hotspot indicator???

From the players’ POV it sure functions as a hotspot. But I guess it’s simply inadequate technology. Like in the FMV adventure Temujin, where the objects that could be picked stood out clearly.

Looking forward to:
Ithaka of the Clouds; The Last Crown; all the kickstarter adventure games I supported

They drew them with a black outline… Why? Who knows… But they could equally have drawn them without the outline.
It may well have been as a visual cue to the player.

Huh.. I never noticed that before Tim. Would have been useful to know while playing it!

Anyway, great game. If you like puzzles Gobliiiiiiiins can’t be overlooked…

As I recall, yes, it’s a hotspot indicator and was done intentionally to separate out interactive objects.

A fun game, haven’t replayed it after it’s release. Maybe worth another go.

Goblins 3 was always my favourite (Don’t even know how many i’s are in that one).

Used to love the voice acting, if you could call it that!

edit: Apart from the puzzle where you had to mix items to make a potion. That was infuriating.

I’m on a whole new adventure.
Growing a mustache?

The original Goblins games were all great. Never played Goblins 4, though. Somehow it just didn’t appeal to me at all.

Goblins 4 is pretty good. Not as good as 1 and 2 but better than 3.
