Adventure Game Scene of the Day — Tuesday 29 January 2013
Today, the infamous “Get Scorpio!” scene from Access Software’s Countdown. You start off as a guy who’s lost his memories, and this memory of a murder, with the victim shouting “Get Scorpio!” in all its 1990-digital-SFX glory, keeps playing over and over again throughout the game every time he sees something that reminds him of it.
Countdown is one of the oldies I would really like to try.
Everybody wants to be Cary Grant.
