Random metaphysical question of the day: Would anyone even remember Post-Mortem if it were not for its vastly superior sequel (Still Life)?

Let’s hope I’ll like it, then. I plan on playing this in the not-so-distant future (because I don’t want to start a series in the middle).

Of course. I played Post Mortem years before Still Life came out, and I’ll never forget how much I loved the atmosphere, the colors and Gus MacPherson. When I learned that Gus would return in Still Life—and in third-person (not as much of a fan of first-person AGs)—I knew immediately that the game would be something HUGE. I was right—it’s one of my favorite AGs of all time.

I would. I liked the game, although it’s far from being the best AG I have played.

Certainly I remember Post Mortem. It was one of the first games I played where dialog at the very start of a game determined your path through the game.

That womans face looks incredibly bizarre, even for an old game with poor 3D models.
