Amerzone doesn’t have all that much in common with Sokal’s magnificent graphic novel of the same name (though I guess much more than is the case for the two Sinking Islands), and its low-res node-based graphics have aged poorly, but the hand-drawn illustrations of crazy animals haven’t lost their magic.

However, I do remember that I couldn’t stop staring everything with awe at the time… Perhaps the best graphics I had ever seen back then. And the general feeling was great!!
Very easy though…
