I suggest we all get back to topic. Just one last thing: I don’t think that stating a fact is bragging, Juss, and therefore no reason to mock somebody. Next time something sounds wrong to you, just say it directly, so there won’t be any hurt feelings and things won’t escalate, okay? I’m going to do the same.

Like I said, back to topic:
Have I already mentioned, that I like Broken Sword 4? I actually liked the hacking mini game, and I didn’t mind Anna-Maria that much.

You did actually and we agreed on it:

-I really like Broken Sword 4 and enjoy the hacking puzzles.

And after finishing Larry: Wet Dreams I realised how much I hate games overloaded with bad inventory puzzles. Every now and then I felt like “God, was it really necessary to make such tedious puzzle out of a wedding ceremony? Or come up with new fetch quests for the same characters? Or collect ingredients again and again and AGAIN?”. Wet Dreams is full of such tasks with no relation to the plot or Larry’s current aim. It’s like the devs were afraid people would beat the game in no time and added 50% of puzzles to an already finished product. I’d rather listen to narrator’s funny remarks than run around the city pleasing some capricious punk.

It’s a great game. Much better than 3 imo. Felt like a proper Broken Sword again with a great story and atmosphere which I felt was lacking in 3.

And she’s a great character as well. I actually think she would have been a great permanent addition to the series

- I liked Beneath a Steel Sky a lot more than any of the Broken Swords. I was actually disappointed after playing the first Broken Sword because at that point in time BASS was one of my favorite game
- My two favorite Sierra games are Conquest of the Longbow and GK1. I never got into GK2 because I tried playing it too late. I enjoyed the novelization
- If I can’t find the solution of a puzzle within 30 minutes I tend to lose patience and look for a walkthrough.
- In the rare case that I have a walkthrough that lists where all items are or a hotspot reveler, I will be a bit more patient before reaching out for a walkthrough. The main reason I go to walkthrough is that I’ve been too often burned by pixel hunting.
- I really loved The Last Express and it remains one of my favorite game
- As a teenager I loved Leisure Suit Larry 1 and 6 and played it in hiding

Opinions (even unpopular ones) aren’t sins you need to confess, imo. Smile

And this is not even an unpopular opinion. It was #12 in AG’s 2001 “all-time top 20” and it’s #7 in AG’s 2012 “all-time top 100”. Wink

Every man who was a teenager in the late 80s and early 90s loved LSL. Tongue
Why “in hiding”? Prude parents?

Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka

While I love monkey Island one and three I strongly dislike number two

As a self-confessed lover of 1st person adventures, I’ve never actually finished Riven. Yes, I know it’s one of the best of the category out there, and I spent dozens of hours as a young teenager trying (and failing) to solve the puzzles. That was my mistake, I think, because I eventually got tired of the setting and never really had that much desire to go back and complete it. Maybe some day.
