[Archived] Time for a new community playthrough?
You can add me to Tormentum, Still Life and Lighthouse.

Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
+1 for Broken Sword
It’s time for a protagonist of the muliebrous kind.
I learned a new word today.
Butter my buns and call me a biscuit! - Agent A
I also add my vote for The Dig. And while I’m interested in replaying Blade Runner, I think the game mechanics makes it really unsuitable for a CPT.
PC means personal computer
I would also play Lighthouse and The Dig.

I also vote Catyph and offer to lead.
This message will self destruct in 3… 2… 1… BOOM!!!
I added you to my previous tally, Sir Hirsute.

I’m brand new around here but I’d love to get involved with a playthrough.
My vote is for Still Life because ... it looks awesome?
Welcome, Juss!

Id play broken sword and still life as well
IF Broken Sword turns out to be the winner, I assume we’re talking about the classical original edition rather than the underwhelming so-called ‘Director’s Cut’. I understand some of the reasons why they tampered with the game that much, primarily when launching the game for a different (non-pc) market, but for a play-through on a regular PC the original edition still stands as king.

But me in for:
Broken Sword, leader

Still Life, leader

FYI the origonal Broken Sword has a Metacrtic rating of 69% and the director’s cut has a rating of 91%.
I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.
That’s weird. I don’t think there are any reviews of the orginal 1996 release on Metacritic.
The only broken sword that I can find on metacritic that has a 69% rating is the original Broken Sword 2: the smoking mirror. I don’t disagree with that, as I find the second installment a hurried sequel that misses the emotional scale, humor and charm of the original.
The Director’s cut has indeed a 91% rating for the iOS version, other versions Wii and DS score significantly lower though. I guess it’s because of the additions of slider type puzzles that are fun to do on a touch device and probably a general positive response to a re-release of a beloved classical game on a multitude of devices.
I have actually played them both at the time the directors cut came out, but I sincerely dislike the new cut, too many small things that bother me. From the visual style of the new content, to the horrible new intro and a general miss of balance across the whole game as a consequence of the new content.
Of course, that is just me, and I have played the original game back in 1996 at which time this was a solid triple A game that was utterly impressive. It would be interesting to know how new players judge the directors cut vs the original, without the inherent nostalgia effect.
[EDIT] Circle of Blood (US title of Broken Sword) IS on metacritic, with a score of 80%, but I expect that many reviews under the name of Broken Sword aren’t being counted, including AG’s review.

LOL, it’s only now that I realize that my Danganronpa nomination wasn’t listed.
LK, can you add it, please?
