Upcoming adventure games in August
Hi everybody
Check out these 6 promising adventure games that will hit us in August. Let me know what you like or which game I missed!
Thanks for watching
Unavowed looks very impressive and epic, hopefully the gameplay will match the trailer. Not sure about the rest. I love adventure-RPG hybrids, but Pendula Swing looks too outdated technically (in a bad, distasteful way). And the rest seem like interactive movies to me. “This is the Police 2” - what the hell was even that? Someone watched too much Tarantino.

I personally could recommend Repentant, its kinda the sequel of Little Kite. Dramatic game, but great art and puzzles.
Thank you, I will look into the series then. It’s hard to tell from the trailer what to make of the game.

I agree with gamewalker, little kite is a fun game and Repentant looks similar.
Completely missed the Unavowed release date, good to see it soon.
Also like the Pendula Swing look, the isometric camera automaticaly makes me remember Little Big Adventure. Only down is that it seems to be episodic
State of Mind finally. Good month.
YEAH, finally State of Mind!
Good month.
Looking forward to Unavowed and State of Mind, Repentant and Pirmus Vita look interesting.
Pendulum Swing look ok , but nothing great.
However that last trailer is a real mix of genres. The actual game play as it looks like it’s mostly a strategic x-com style turn based game.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

Yay, Unavowed release date was a nice surprise!
Playing: 1) Broken Sword 5 2) Road 96
Unavowed looks very impressive and epic..
Looks very interesting. Might be fun. But to ascribe the term epic to it is a bit of a stretch.
For whom the games toll,
they toll for thee.

To call it interesting is a bit of a stretch too. Looks like the same old boring superheroes shtick to me.

A good story teller can make something impressive out of anything. So far I have trust in Gilbert. I’m definitely interested.
I`m still waiting old-school cardboard Big Box edition of Blackwell series! That game was epic and deserves an epic box too!

5-star AG review. It might turn out epic after all.
This is an epic. A huge, ridiculously detailed adventure…

Please give your definition of “Epic.” My definition includes the fact that a great game has stood the test of time. Grim Fandango is epic. MYST is epic. I might even go so far as to say a game I hate, TLJ, is epic. But a five-star review on the first day of release does not equate with epic. Time will tell. As only time can.

they toll for thee.
