Not really adventure games but since you mentioned Condemned, I’d recommend Cry of Fear and Nightmare House 2. They’re free mods but you need to own Half Life and Half Life 2 Episode 2 respectively.

Darkness Within 2 (the first isn’t 3D but is very good, forget the reviews they are better than 2.5 stars)

Various Silent Hill titles are pretty good. 2 and 3 I like especially. I don’t know how well they hold up graphically, though.

Silent Hill 2 and 3 PC look pretty bad now (the ports were terrible) but the PS2 versions hold up if you have one laying around or a PC able to emulate it in the original resolution. There’s also recent HD versions on modern consoles. Look up Fatal Frame and Echo Night: Beyond as well. The first Dead Space is pretty good too but more action oriented.

3D Horror game? Thersia Dear Emily would be my recommendation. I’d also try Silent Hill 4 as well.

Green Man Gaming is having a horror game sale. 20% off code GMG20-FXYD1-7WHP1 stacks with those prices. That might help get you started.

If you like Amnesia and the Penumbra games (who doesn’t?) I must give Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth another vote since that one is really great and definitely in the same vein.

Regarding Silent Hill, I would foremost recommend Shattered Memories and SH2 which are both excellent games.

I’d really recommend SH3 and Zero Escape Virtue’s Last reward.

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, Realms of a Haunting (I want to say the mechanics are the predecessor to Penumbra Tongue), Waxworks, SH4, Fatal Frame, Dead Space, Condemned 1 & 2, Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem (gamecube game),
