Hey there fellow Adventure gamers!

I am early in development of a point & click adventure game called Omnichronic.
It will be a quirky comedy/sci-fi romp with a time-hopping mechanic and a retro b/w artstyle.
I am currently doing a bit of market research to find out if there might be any community interest in a game like that.

You would do me a huge favour if you’d answer this google form (only one y/n question obligatory): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1qtmlDZbJl2g9s20-3Og-J3ZRDyT6mWxKe78gAA_iShc/viewform?edit_requested=true on wether or not you’d be interested in playing a game like that.
I am hoping to have a transparent development cycle with lots of community interaction to help shape the game so if you’d like to be a part of that or just want to follow development more closely please leave your emailadress at the end of the poll and i’ll get back to you soon.

You can try out a short vertical slice i made for a competition it won here: https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/695761?updated=1506762043
There is alot more art and info about the game on twitter: https://twitter.com/Mammothtree .

Thank you very much for your interest guys!

There is certainly potential. I would like to see what becomes of it.

Hey. My one suggestion is to always head this kind of pitch / presentation / query with a neat little gif of your game. Us humans are suckers for pretty pictures, especially moving ones, and chances that people will click your link will increase substantially if you do so Smile All the best!

Thank you very much for your feedback Mr Underhill! Smile

Yeah the first version of the poll was a rather dry standard google form page with just a short summary of the game-idea and the yes/no question.

After a couple of hours of getting close to no responses i finally got a clue and decked it with some gif’s and a couple of optional follow-up questions and that seemed to engage people alot more!

Forgot about making the thread on here a little bit more nice and presentable though.
I’ll get on it when i get home from work, right now it’s not especially inviting/interesting Wink

To add to what Underhill is saying, the best possible thing is that mini-demo thing you have on Newgrounds. I wish my game had that, best possible way to communicate your point.

That mini-demo/vertical slice thingy was hastely crunched together for a local competition and i had no plans to ever show it to anyone but the jury after the competition was over.

But in the end i’m glad i made it available as it has been easily one of the most visible, and traffic generating part of the development for a while now (there is also an older protoype made in a different engine up on newgrounds that also got alot of eyes on the project. NG is seemingly great for that)
