What a reveal
They indeed listened to all the criticism

Gorgeous world design check
Not making gamers to feel lack of Martin OST check
Better engine , not beholden by last gen looks check
On your face , kickass Singleplayer campaign check
New modes like Adventures
And biggest draw , keep playing campaign without disrupting gameplay, no need to visit back and forth to main hub…thats a huge plus for me

And Lance Reddick is now default for all scifi games

Also surprised by overall production quality of everything
I hope launch is not a mess

Content is king and even though new classes are missing, new super powers and weapons look like a great addition

2017 is not over yet Meh

Battle.net for PC is kind of surprising but a good choice

There is hate going on , nothing has changed and i wonder what change people were expecting
Destiny wasnt broke , it had excellent foundation but rough edges like graphics, loading, bad story etc All covered now
Locations are way more expansive and beautiful
Demo they showed had amazing cabal enemies and solid weapons

Now Gearbox had to come up with tight Borderlands3

Played the Destiny 2 beta.
Only the story mission part because got some disconnects when trying the Crucible.
The graphics update noticeable, game looks great and colorful but the mission strutucture and gameplay felt the same. Didn’t help the enemies were Cabal again. Gunplay was already amazing so glad it’s the same.

You think you are sold with the new changes?

Difficult to see, the story mission is just the intro is too small and doesn’t even have loot.
From what I’ve read mission structure and subquests will be better but that is not shown here.
I used a Warlock in the beta that is the only class I never tried in the original. Might give my most played class Hunter a try to see the differences better.
3 weapons is the same, Supercharge works the same, there’s now 3 special powers instead of 2 that might change things a bit (although there was one in Warlock that I thought was pretty useless).
Crucible (PvP) was never my thing so not that interested in the changes.
Didn’t try the strikes because was getting some disconnects.

I’m getting it but I’m already a big fan of the first (100h…) but can’t really say if it will fix the problems people had with it from this beta, so far looks more of the same but looking better.

Played 4 hrs
Damn its as addictive as hell
Strike partners sucked so hard that we tried it 10+times with no luck then played with some others and finished it in 2 tries
Story mission was typical FPS story
All in all best FPS gameplay in years
Still shine, too bad strike and raids are beyond PSN+ paywall

Strike balance sometimes is hard, it can go either way, sometimes grous sucks so bad you can’t finish and s lot of time, sometimes you a player so good he basically does everything and you hardly have to do anything (but those at least finish fast Smile )
But in my experience rarely a strike was not finished, even when people bailed out others would take the place.
Raids in the other hand need a lot coordenation so that’s why they didn’t have matchmaking there.
