Life is Strange: Before the Storm
A 3 episode prequel to Life is Strange was announced at E3. The protagonist is Chloe Price and the story takes place after Max leaves and when she meets Rachel.
-The development team is Deck Nine Games and not Dontnod that did the original
-No time-travel mechanics of course
-Voice actor for Chloe is different because Ashly Burch is on strike but is working on the game as a writer/consultant
-It will be released August 31
would there be any kinda extra fun for someone who hadn’t played the original to start from here?
Everything about this stinks - prequel (boring), episodic and no Chloe voice actor. A cash-in on the success of LiS if I ever saw one.

If you like Hipster teens then jump in
But i wonder if it can match quality of first one
However if this will sell 2 million i dont think we will stop on these 2 new LiS only
Hopefully new cast town

It might be preferable.
A lot of the first game was figuring out what happens in this game. So like most prequels it lessens the tension or surprise as we already know what happens to these characters.
Not sure how they are going to spin it.
Shame about the voice of Chloe being different. I liked her in the first game.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

Probably the fun of not knowing how it will end, might be better
Hm. Ill play it. The big question i have now is will there be a super natural element to this story. Its a good decision to not bring back the same time travel, but a story about chloe and rachel being ordinary troublemakers sounds pretty boring.
Might be pretty good - I’ll give it a play.
I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.
thankzzz guys for your answers
Gamescom trailer:
^i continue to be a little baffled about this concept, as there is seemingly no supernatural element being marketed here. And chloe&rachel;‘s adventures of being normal teenagers isnt really what i want to play.
First episode is out, not many reviews available, not jumping in right now
I’m going to give it a shot tonight, here’s hoping it’s of equal quality!
I make stuff:

I’m slightly worried about the fact that it’s made by a different developer. I’ll probably wait for reviews.

Oh, I didnt even know that Apparently DONTNOD is too deep in developing Vampyr. Let`s just hope that their next big game is Life Is Strange 2 or some other new ip adventure.
Playing: 1) Broken Sword 5 2) Road 96
Sounds like milking franchise
