I like this weird one. Edna used her pen to mark the way from her cell, which is locked, to the chewing gum dispenser.  You can see the marks in the hallways too. Laughing

Go here: http://www.gadwin.com/download/ scroll to the bottom and download the Gadwin Printscreen software. It’s free and works well. Can’t say that it will fix your problem as it uses the print screen button but it may.

I already use the Gadwin PrintScreen. It doesn’t take any pictures while I’m playing Edna, but works fine with other things. Saves me the trouble of going to paint. Smile

Does the English version of this game have German speech and English subtitles?

No (thank God), it’s all in English.
And voice acting is good: Harvey is a bit on annoying side (as he should be), but Edna is great.

What do you mean ‘Thank God’? From what I’ve read the translation is sloppy. If I’m going to play any adventures from Germany, I’d prefer it in it’s native language. A friend recommended I do that for this game too. Wink

I mean I hate the sound of German language, that’s why I thank God E&H has English voices.

That’s not true, ADan (the guy who translated E&H from German to English) did a great job (IMHO).

Yeah I’ve been hearing the comments on the videos too, that the English voice acting is terrible, and that the game is better in German. Personally I like the English voice acting better. German voices sound too dull… Meh

Just my two cents: I prefer the English Harvey, because he does wonders with his voice. But the German Edna is superior, much more in character. The English Edna is too sweet, too young and her voice is too high. She should sound much more belligerent and rebellious. Some of the supporting cast are way, way better in German. The German guard at the door had me in stitches, the English one was blah. On the whole, I really prefer the German version.

I agree. And correct me if I’m wrong, but I seem to remember our very own editor-in-chief Jackal was responsible for editing the translation. Like Steve Ince did the editing for the Whispered World.

I haven’t heard the German voices but the English voice acting in E&H wasn’t fantastic. I find that’s the case with many German adventures, particularly Daedelic’s, that they are better with the original voices. I hope if there’s an E&H sequel they find someone more like Fien suggested.
