...where I’ve been even more so than the previous months.

I am pretty busy with university, but I’ve not forgotten you guys. I also have some ideas what we could do for the next AG Meet. I’d like to know how much time prior to the event I should consider, so I can plan when. I am thinking in the second half of the year, because in the first part I have to go to school a lot. The second half would be the most likely time that everyone could find time, I think.

What I’ve thought of so far is visiting a castle (still having to decide which), and also the Felsenmeer (sea of rocks), with a visit to a restaurant after.

If this too little time for one of you guys, please tell me.

Second half of the year is good. That is, if I can make it. As some of you know my children both live far from home these days. And I try to visit them when possible timewise and also when economics allow.

Unfortunately I will probably have to give this a miss as Mrs Degree will be giving birth again in the summer, God willing, and travelling with a 2 year old and a <6 month old probably won’t be an option. Frown

Hooray for the Fourth Degree though! Laughing

Is that a Hooray! for the Fourth Degree, or a Hooray! for Intense Degree giving it a miss??? Naughty

Mine is a Hooray! for the Fourth Degree: Hooray!

On a more serious note: second half of the year is good for me, too. Gives me more time to work out logistics…

Hooray for the Fourth Degree!

Also, Hooray that this works out so well for everyone here. So I guess I’ll plan a hypothetical date or two for now, and we’ll settle on one as details emerge, okay?

Okay, time to look for a date for our next meeting.

I looked up when my semestre is over, and it ends on the 19th of July. I’d suggest choosing a weekend after that for the meeting. The last weekend of July is booked for me with another appointment, so that doesn’t work. We don’t want it to be too cold (The Felsenmeer is in the forest, and it gets a bit chilly once the sun goes down), so I’d go for August, or maybe early September.

The weekend of the 17-18th August Johannes and I will be at a festival, so that one’s out too.

Other than that, we are completely free.

Soo, the options are as such:

[s]02.08-04.08[/s]
09.08-11.08
23.08-25.08
30.08-01-09
06.09-08-09
(13.09-15-09)
(20.09-22.09)

So, now I need your input to see which date is best for all of us. Smile

Hi Jazzie! Nice to see you again.

I am available on all those dates except the last one. My birthday is at 11.08 so who knows I get an AG get-together on my birthday! Smile

Where exactly is the Felsenmeer?

Oh, by the way, with ‘the last one’ I meant 08-09. Sorry for being unclear.

The Felsenmeer is south of Darmstadt, which is about 20 kms south of Frankfurt.

On Google Maps

I have to take out the first date, as I was reminded we’ll not be here during that time, due to a LARP meeting.

Input from the others?

Oooh that’s near the Reichenbach falls.
