And now it’s got kids.  Sick  Sick

I kinda felt sorry for the Swampling in Simon 1, but in Simon 2 I just wanted to drown him and his gross babies in his stew.  Naughty

(In completely unrelated news: Fien, could you empty your PM box? It’s already full.)

Yes, Swampling is one of the most irritating downers in adventure history, and he is great at that Smile

Sit and eat your stew.

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

I think the thing that’s always irked me most about him is his voice. I first played the floppy version of Simon 1, and I was taken aback when I first heard his high-pitched voice in Simon 2. I guess it’s a perfectly annoying voice for an annoying character, but I’ve never fully gotten over it.

Aww, I loved Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2, especially 2. Never had the time to try the newer ones. Should probably give them another ride and continue with the sequels, even though some of them have had mixed and bad reviews.

Agreed. And his babies… ^_^

I should give these a replay soon. As I asked in the old ‘iPhone/iPad Games’ thread, how are these games for the iPhone? Reviews on iTunes seem to suggest the games are buggy. Meh
