Nah, we did the canal tour in Amsterdam which covered at least as much ground,

Your quiz was accompanied by a lot of ‘I should know this one’.

Full tour notes now available. PM me an e-mail address if you want a copy.

Has the package arrived at your parents’ tsa?

I’m hoping to find name for game that I played long ago
The people here so well-informed, someone is sure to know
A time machine, grandfather clock, I give it to myself
Oh never mind, the box is sitting there upon my shelf

For real retro gaming nerds, name that game.

They haven’t told me about it. I guess it will arrive tomorrow. Can you send me the notes please? You have my email address Smile.

Today I got the padded envelope Steve talked about. In it I found postcards from all of you, a map with the walk(s) you did drawn on them, a little game, my very own nametag, and a special placemat/handkerchief/printed cloth thingy, all from Hastings! It’s brilliant! There was even a folder from The Italian Way in there Smile. You really went through a lot of trouble to make me feel part of the experience, and it certainly paid off! Thank you all for your concerns and the things you did for me. I sure hope to be there next time!

The placemat Moose-thingy is from Sweden, I think.  Laughing It was Jelenas price in the quizz! Even I got one, even though I had 0 correct answers! (yes I am very proud to be last Tongue )

It’s something else than you think it is. It’s the blue neckerchief in the picture below (shamelessly stolen from the “Made in Hastings” website).

Looking through the Thread, it looks like this was a fun meet!

Hopefully, there’ll be others now that my time is significantly more freed up.

That’s a relief. Glad it all got to you OK.

I don’t think I had a spare moose - or was it a Gnu? - Jelena?

Have you solved the mat thing? A uniquely Hastings souvenir, literally.

You mean the little sea mammals game that was in there? Yes I did Smile.

No, the message in the flags from Made in Hastings.

But well done on solving the sea mammals puzzle. That was your prize for doing so well on the Freeware game thing (and astonishing well on the Letter Tour. Grin )

Oh the flags! No I haven’t done that one yet. I guess it’s harder than the Letter Tour puzzle… I’ll try it tomorrow. Now I just want to sit on the couch and admire all the postcards Smile.

Hey tsa, wasn’t there a green, black or blue elk in the package? Oops, it’s one of the quiz prizes. I’d better send it to you. Smile

EDIT: (It really sucks not having the option to get directly to the first unread post. I keep missing posts all the time since I pick go to the last post. Must stop doing that!)

Anyway, from what I gather from previous posts you didn’t get the elk in the package. I’ve got spare ones and will send you one.Smile
