Hi!

I am curious if adventuregamers.com still runn the “following freeware” articles you used to post?

And if so, how/where does one submit an entry?

Thanks!

No, I’m afraid it’s on hiatus for the foreseeable future. I’d like to start it back up again at some point, but it likely won’t be any time soon.

You’re certainly welcome to post about your game here on the forums, of course. Smile

Apologies for bit of necromancy here, but it’s been a couple of years, and I’d like to see if there are still any plans to bring back this feature. It was really neat! I miss being able to take a look at all the promising freeware, and it would be great to have something like that again. Maybe once per season?
Thanks!

Unless someone steps forward to take on this very time-consuming task, it’s not going to happen. Even doing it once a season is a huge undertaking. It’s less writing that way, but we’d still need to personally check out dozens of new games each month in order to know what should and shouldn’t be covered.

I’d restart the feature in a heartbeat if someone (or someones) wanted to take it on, but it’s not something that our current staff can handle on top of everything else.

man, i still miss those articles, they provided a nice compact overview. i just don’t have the time to deep dive into the, i assume still vivid, fanadventure/freeware scene…
