Excellent guy and masterful actor. Now the very last living actor from The Crimson Pirate has left us.

I always appreciated his thoughtful comments during the LOTR behind the scenes. At least he lived a full live until old age.

Christopher Lee is one of the few people I call a “legend”.

He was the definitive Dracula, and made a lasting impression in practically everything he acted in. Plus I consider it absolutely amazing that - at 91 during filming - he still did all the swordfighting as Saruman himself (only requiring a stunt double for scenes where he needed to jump or run).
Heck, at 92 he released another of his metal albums - a genre for which his heavy bass voice was absolutely perfect! A very talented and productive man, and very charming in interviews.

I agree with Subbi that his commentary on the LotR movies was brilliant.

A great loss. RIP, Sir Lee!

Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
