i have been listening for more than a century now about that Adventures ...are Dead !
and, i never even saw a proper funeral !

so imagine what is worst that would happen to Adventure Gaming!

My 1st Rumor would be:

“Jane and Al getting untied and starting their 1st new project/Adventure together! after the failure of their previous individual Kickstarters   !”

Cool

“Jane and Al getting untied

I don’t know, but speaking of getting untied in the context of Al’s games… It gave me strange associations.

I was more thinking about the getting tied that must have happened before they got untied.

Hahaha Grin.

Adventure games are on life support and will stay that way Meh. Which is too bad, because the older generation of gamers would definitely be a loyal and consistent customers.

For a time, in the US they did die. But in Europe they picked up at the same time - then in Japan they picked up too.

So, I’ve always had adventure games, but publishers and platforms do change.

Favs:

Dangan Ronpa 2 - Japan

Longest Journey - Europe

Walking Dead Season 2 - USA

Heart

I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.

We only need one game, that will bring back balance to the force Grin.
Joking on the side, Adventure gaming is really somewhere in between of fading away into oblivion or becoming mainstream genre again and it’s really hard to tell, which direction will manifest itself. I wouldn’t made a bet on this one.

We’ve passed “fading away” years ago and have since settled in our very own niche. I’m not sure if we’ll become a mainstream genre again, but we have our established niche and I don’t believe it’ll get smaller anymore…

The worst that could happen? Already happened more than a decade ago. We won. Cool

Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
