We need a new thread for all of our general ramblings which don’t qualify for threads of their own, so here goes.

Would anyone care for some tea and biscuits?

Ooh good, a new place for drivel and such! Grin

I wonder if y’all, especially Jazzie, have seen the Cthulhu Knitted Ski Mask Kickstarter? It’s over 1000% funded - but be quick, only 26 hours left!!

Green is just not my color.

No tea and biscuits for me right now.  I’m having coffee and a bagel.

Pledge enough and you’ll get it in red… Tongue

I sound like I’m advertising it Grin Okay: I’m not involved in any way, nor do I care about the product. Just thought Jazzie would go bananas…

Thanks, Jelena.  Mini Smile I’m glad you liked it. That’s the song that was played on their wedding. Last year - for their 50th anniversary - I recorded a traditional Gotlandic bridal march. I don’t know if I posted that here. I have gotten better at recording since, as you can hear. I send off a recording now and then to my parents along with an e-mail-greeting, so my iTunes playlist of my own recordings does now contain 34 songs, and that doesn’t include the soundtrack to Frasse or things like that. I think it’s fun, and I’m learning a lot.

When I first left home to go to folkhögskola (is there a term for that in English? - it was a sort of preparatory education for music university) I used to send (semi-)regular paper letters, full with sketches. I’m not particularly good with writing letters, so I kind of need an excuse to do it or I wouldn’t get round to it, and I think keeping in touch is important. (I phone once in a while, too.)

You can play my game Frasse and the Peas of Kejick for free! (AG review here.)

The masks are awesome, there is a purple option too.

And having some tea now, no biscuits though, trying to lose a few kilograms.

Today is my parents’ 51st wedding anniversary, so I recorded this.

Very nice Mendelssohn, Trum!  That was sweet of you to do that for your parents’ anniversary.  Heart  Heart

Isn’t it better to ask him for your 50th wedding anniversary?

Oh, you areso evil for tempting me like that…I mean, it’s lovely and all, but I haven’t been Skiing for a while now, and I already have a Squid hat I crocheted. Also, i think I’ll first have to look up if I can even wear it here. I know there is a ban on running around masked in Germany, but I think it might only apply to Demonstrations and Protests.

Also, have to see because of money…still, it is very tempting.

And it just reminded me I have to get a “My first Cthulhu” for the future when I have kids. Smile

A couple of my bandmates played music at their own wedding. That was cool.

Not surprising. Many people thought it was overpriced to start with. It only met is’t share price at launch because the underwriters stepped in.

They claim to be worth $104 billion, but where does Facebook make it’s money. Google is very successful with AD’s because you are activly looking for something so sponsored results and adverts absed on what you are looking at are fine.

However Facebook is built around social links and connections. People don’t go to Facebook to find stuff to buy so adverts etc are intrusive.

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.
