Big Fish Games - Are they any good?

In the past I’ve purchased several games from BFG.

Nowadays I restrict my purchases to Steam and GOG only.

Thing is, those games I’ve bought from BFG - are they even maintained, at least as far as important updates are concerned? Or should I forget about them since I do recall many issues and bugs with games downloaded from there.

Thanks

I, like you, haven’t used neither the client nor the site for years now, but, for what it’s worth, BF has (or at least had back then) extremely quick and helpful customer service. So I suggest you simply try downloading the game(s) you are curious about and if you find their performance buggy or otherwise unsatisfying, drop them an email and there is a good chance they’ll help you fix it.

I wouldn’t expect Big Fish versions of third-party games to be up-to-date with patches etc., but since they are all edited to only work through Big Fish manager/player anyway, in practice this shouldn’t matter much. (I am pretty sure some of the games bought through BF were from the start missing content compared to their original releases, but that’s another thing altogether.)
