Was going to guess Mizzurna Falls but doesn’t seem to have an english version until the fan translation is out. Game seems interesting like Deadly Premonition

I dont know how you linked with final fight with horror, but actually hint was same composer, who also composed Strider, bioniccommando etc.

Soccerdude was right about Atlus , behind Torico. Same company.
Combine it with clock tower game play , combine it with my hint of lots of great dialogue.

I just linked EnemyZero too as last hint but edited it out, since you came to genre by yourself already. You guys should have posted D spiritual successor Enemyzero

Its amazingly twisted game with great Metro type infraworld, in Japan.
You solve puzzles and meet strange characters in rooms, but outside monster chases you down.

A saw that Hellnight is kinda like Clock Tower. Also saw that it had a blonde schoolgirl character so maybe that might be the link (although all japanese games have a schoolgirl…)
