I would! And I think I would be able to convince Uptimist to come as well.

Smile Sounds great!

I am all for the next meeting to be in Scandinavia. Lena? Wink

Well, we could walk the streets of Norrköping, the town where the Carol Reed games take place. It’s quite a nice town only 40 minutes from my town Nyköping. And it’s really easy to get to Nyköping since we have the airport Stockholm/Skavsta here.  The one Ryan air uses.
(Flights from Standstead/London, Einhoven/N.L, Bergamo/Milan, Edingburgh/Scotland, Brussles/Belgium, Hamburg, Bremen, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt/Germany and even some more during summer.
The questions is rather how many are prepared to go ‘all the way’ to Sweden?

Me! Me! Me!

That smiley website has become completely unusable thanks to all kinds of popups and ads. Time to find another one

And your significant other? Will she come as well?

Given you were quoting Lena there tsa, I thought you were revealing some new fact about Christer. Grin

I’d have to look at the practicalities (read, I would have to get Mrs Urhan to look at the practicalities) but I think we would both be up for it.

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

She immediately said yes when I asked her, so we’re both in Smile

Yay! We haven’t completely frightened her off with our weirdness.  Laughing

How baby-friendly would this be? And what about Stockholm in general (so I could maybe make a week out of it)???

It’ll probably take a lot of persuasion for the missus, though… Meh

Quite the confidence! Grin But, indeed, this would be the most realistic destination for me, only a boatride away! Or, indeed, a short flight. Dunno which is cheaper…

But, yeah, it’s a distinct possibility, if I have money (and if Luna turns on her charm on me). And I might even have money then.

Perhaps Stockholm is more interesting. Nyköping where I live and where Ryanair lands is in between Norrköping and Stockholm so we could go either way. I’m sure both places will provide activities for us.

I have finally finished the Meet poem. Took a bit of doing this one.

At the get-together three languages were spoken, English, German and Dutch. In this poem each verse has a line in English, a line in German, and a line in Dutch. Whilst undoubtedly not perfect, the poem should pretty much rhyme with the lines in those three languages.

Translation available on request.

Adventure Spielers Vergadering

From all of Europe, to Germany we go

The place that we are staying is quite remote

For food we go a long way in the dark
Zum Abendessen sind wir nicht autark
Zoek een plaats in een industrieel park

Next day more come, one with an early start
Mehr als eine Person mit einem Bart
Met kleding zowel vele gekleurde en zwarte

Then to a town that’s sat upon a hill
Das Wetter ist warm und fast windstill
Kan niet in het musuem. We zijn hier pril

After a nice lunch, we find the castle is open

Museum of dragons holds us in its thrall
Große Echsen aus großen Stand auf Modellfall
Verliezen tellen, is er zo’n groot aantal

Up Felsenmeer wishing that I was fitter
Johannes einige mehr Wasser bitte
Klimmen is moeilijk in deze hitte

Then food, this time some African cuisine

Look out for glowing zombies in the trees

A fun weekend, we are ready to go again
Vielleicht sehen wir uns den berühmten Souterrain
Op de Zweedse vergadering fenomeen

Tell me. It’s tricky when you are working in (two) other languages.
