Sexiest adventure game characters

I happen to like femme fatales. There’s nothing sexier than someone who can utterly ruin your life. Even better yet if there is a legitimate fear that they might drug you, torture you, and/or sacrifice you on an altar to some evil deity, keeping some part of you as a souvenir afterward.

I can’t actually think of many that qualify though. The only one I can think of at the moment would be Regan from The Pandora Directive. She’s pretty tame as far as femme fatales go, but still very sexy. I’m sure I’m forgetting some better ones…

I’d say some characters were designed with being “sexy” in mind. Bigby Wolf is probably one of them. As a matter of fact, his smarts and overall character, fearlessness (and a bit of recklessnes), and how he cares is most definitely what makes him sexy.

Yup. To me sexiness is also a combination of attractive form and personality.

I’m also 100% sure Jane Jensen designed Gabriel Knight to be “sexy”. He’s a handsome and charming “bad boy” without being too macho.

I mean.. Bigby is a wolf and sexy should not be on the list of attributes at all.. so… Wink

Obviously we’re joking here but I still have to add that I’m not really counting the wolf form. I’m not into werewolves regularly (often werewolf stories are all about packs and macho culture and stuff, and then the characters are actual animals a lot of the time - not my cup of tea) though there are a couple of exceptions.

Karlok’s right, the wolf form is simply part of who he is. So it’s part of his sexuality.

When visiting a friend recently they described a werewolf in fiction they were in love with (as well as most were wolves) as “inherently erotic.”  Their words, not mine.

Humbled, I need to show them this thread in, conceding defeat of my argument

I suppose by picking Wolfie from QFGV, I defeated myself Cry  Laughing  Laughing

Hey, as long as Wolfie can consent i’m not against it. It’s your preference. I suppose the problem people have with it (along with the child-like appearance of the girls in some Japanese games) is that it fetishizes those who cannot consent. I don’t think Bigby is in danger of doing this, since he appears human.

I don’t know when the game’s set but in the comics Bigby marries a (Fable) human and they both seem pretty happy about it.

You mean Snow White, right? The game takes place before that. But the player can tell they like each other.  Cool

Guybrush Threepwood?

I have a thing for goofy guys, but sometimes he verges on childish (and considering one of the endings…. it starts to feel weird)

And in defense of Wolfie, he speaks english with an Indian accent and loves to paint <3

No love for Sophia Hapgood? She’s dressed perfectly for an adventure, isn’t the typical damsel in distress, can hold her own in snark-combat with Indy, and has gorgeous hair… Smile

It’s a subject that has come up before. Cool

Should make it an Aggie already Grin

Oh yes, Bigby!  Heart Eyes But after all the games I’ve played over the years my number one is still the same: Robert Cath in The Last Express. Strong, self-sufficient, mysterious, courageous. And that wonderful voice! Bigby has a great voice too. Voices are very important. Wilbur, the main character in Orion Burger has the most unsexy voice ever: high-pitched, even a bit shrill, makes him sound like a 13-year old.

I’m the last on the train of “The Last Express” (I’m hilarious, I know), and sometimes random mention of games like this make me just pick up and play it, so I’m going to do just that - make it my next game. Although, it says “gold edition”, so I’m not sure if it’s any different from original or better, or worse.

Also, 100% with you on the voice. For example, John DiMaggio can make anyone sound super bad-ass, whether it’s Marcus Phoenix from Gears of War or Bender in Futurama, so yes, Adam Harrington does fantastic work with Bigby and a huge part of the overall appeal.

And that’s a damn hard line to balance! It does usually slide towards one way or the other eventually, especially so in books where romance is present way more than in games.

By the way, how about Kate Walker? From a straight female perspective I think she could qualify as sexy in a classy sort of way, more subdued and quiet “sexy” but still. I like her personality, maybe that’s why.

I’d have to say april ryan over kate walker.

¿Por qué no los dos?  Grin

Also, while Tomb Raider is generally considered to be “adventure” mainly by the crowd who plays action-adventures, if that counts - Lara Croft is most definitely sexy.
