...picture of the wedding…

Good looking couple! Looks like you had a lovely wedding too. Smile

How does Britain match up to your preconceptions?

Although I will admit, Louie and I found your accent to be quite thick and had a bit of trouble understanding some of it. So if we just smile and nod on Saturday, don’t mind us.  Wink

Now I want to meet everyone more than ever to see what you all sound like as well as look like!

Thanks Intense!

At first, I was overwhelmed with Heathrow, but once I got out and about in busy London with double decker buses and peaceful Hastings, it started being like I always wanted.

Can’t wait to meet you all!

Having heard him online I can vouch for Mr Lacey having an exceptionally fine English accent.

‹ vows to use his Welsh accent all day. Laughing

Unfortunatly the best accent isn’t going to be there.

Too busy with damn auditors.

Probably just as well for Louie. A Scots accent can be swoon-worthy for the female gender. Smile

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

Tell me you’re joking!  Embarassed
I have been bragging to my friends that among many great people I will meet a genuine Scot this weekend. Thumbs Up

Nah, you’ll just have to bring the work on the train and come to Hastings or I’ll be very disappointed.

That’s not a Gotlandic accent. Wink (Though to be serious, I do like hearing Scottish accents.)

‘Gotlandish’ is one of the coolest Swedish accents.  Cool

True, but unfortunately I had already booked another trip when news of this get-together was announced. Wink
I do deeply regret not being able to attend.

Warning- People won’t have as much of a sense of humor about you putting an Alka Seltzer in your mouth then staggering into a restaurant while shouting “THE VIRUS HAS MUTATED!” as you’d hope they would.

Consider this: People say “Ewwww!!!” when they hear about a guy having a hairy bum or hairy back, yet every Teddy Bear ever made has had both a hairy bum AND a hairy back and nobody complains about them; In fact, people think Teddy Bears are adorable.

We’ve been far too busy with a bright sunny day in direct contravention of the rules for British weathet.

I think it all went well, but I’d be biased. I finally got to meet a bunch of people I’ve really been looking forward to meeting. (Hairy Jack didn’t turn up in person though). Skyping didn’t work quite how we wanted, so not much remote meeting accomplished. Hopefully some lessons learned for next meet on that.

Great design for the badges. Thanks for that tsa.

Pics and other details to follow when I’m not posting from a DS.
