Hey there, adventurers!

After working feverishly for months, we would like to present you the first screenshots of our upcoming hand-drawn 2D black-and-white adventure game “PRIM”, in which you play as Death’s daughter!

We’re dying to hear what you think about them! (Bad pun intended Wink)

Hey Adventurers!

For the last couple of years, I’ve been working on PRIM, a handdrawn 2D adventure game about Death’s daughter!

After such a long time, it still feels kind of surreal to me, but YESTERDAY I released the demo!

You can play it here. It’s free!

Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1510470/PRIM/
Itch.io: https://common-colors.itch.io/prim
GameJolt: https://gamejolt.com/games/prim/579367

I can’t wait to hear what you guys think about it!

Played this demo yesterday. Really well polished and I’m excited for the game!! Great graphics and that sketchy intro animation sequence was top notch.

Only critique I’d give is that there are maybe a few too many hints! The puzzles were great but the solutions came super easy because each one was a bit too telegraphed. She kinda kept saying the solutions out loud. The thing that springs to mind a day later is when she says “Maybe I should set a trap!” I think I would have liked to figure that out myself.

Maybe that’s just me, but otherwise I think it looks great.

Thank you for your feedback!

I can totally understand your point regarding the hints. Since the demo represents the beginning of the game, the puzzles will definitely get more challenging as the story progresses!

Best,
Jonas

I liked the demo too. Very polished and promising.
A few quality of life additions such as double-click on the arrow to move somewhere to make it immediate, or closing the inventory when the cursor is not hovering over it would be great, but these are small things.
Hope you have a smooth development and looking forward to the whole game.

The devs just started a kickstarter for this game.
(No idea why they did not mention it here.)

Final hours of the kickstarter campaign have started.

The strechgoals for voiceacting and translations are already in the bag, but maybe some other strechgoals can be reached…
(and the devs are gifting a print-at-home cardgame of casketball to every backer :-) )
