Such a well presented story with variety of characters feels more alive than any other rpg,cleary most ambitious work since Witcher3.

And yet, it’s still the same old D&D aesthetic and creatures, spells, quests, elves and warriors and undead minions. Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2 were cool and exciting when they came out but there’s a feeling of staleness looking at these screenshots. (And it doesn’t help that it reminds me of the Dragon Age series). Maybe when I’m 90 and my legs aren’t working and got nothing else to do I’ll give it a spin.

It’s nice that they’re still making D&D games though. Most other roleplaying systems pale in comparison, I find.

“Divinity: Original Sin 2” is one of my favourite games so signing up for early access to BG3 was a no-brainer for me. This is the game I’m most looking forward to being completed.
