Hey everyone!  I wanted to share our game here.  It’s an adventure game visual novel hybrid in a similar vein of the early Ace Attorney games with a bit of the Tex Murphy games.  I was hoping to get some feedback on what we’re working on, and see if maybe anyone is interested in supporting our campaign!

In short, it’s a point & click and investigative game mixed with a visual novel.  The story follows a woman that used to be a kid detective, and she’s thrust back into the life of a PI when her nemesis, a serial killer, gets released.

Here’s our game.

One thing we have implemented already is a point and click investigation system.  It’s single-screen right now but we would like to make it multi screen with navigation in the full game. 

Another thing we have in right now is an interrogation system. It lets you engage in non-linear interactions with other characters.  Each one of these interactions has several different conclusions that you can arrive at based on prior events via investigations, choices, and other interrogations.

Lastly, we do have the standard VN choices implemented, so being able to select from multiple choices throughout the reading, the investigations, and the interrogations themselves gives the game a little bit more complexity and branching oppourtunities.

There’s about two weeks left on our Kickstarter so if you’re interested or would like to leave feedback about our game or about our Kickstarter, we’d love to hear what you think!
