The writing of this game is incredibly long winded and, contrary to what the box cover says, the player characters are anything but cool, instead they flip out over the littlest things and are constantly berating each other.
I only played the demo, when it was released, but I wasn’t impressed. Didn’t help that you could only do certain things after your avatar figured them out or talked with another character about it. Which of course leads to more tedious talking. The game actually has two modes, one with less, another with more talking. If you have to include two such modes then this should be a clue that there’s an issue you should better fix.
Afaik this game was only released in German speaking territories. It was developed by a team who up to that point only made addons for train simulators, good ones, though.
Here‘s a review by Adventure-Treff.de. It’s in German, of course.
Never played the game, but can’t say I wouldn’t be interested: The graphics might not be the state of the art, but there’s some “Blade Runner” vibe to it, especially the urban areas.
Also, I noticed that there’s “zoom-in” of every inventory object which is a nice feature. And two more reviews from A-Archiv and http://www.adventurecorner.de/reviews/118/sunrise-the-game were rather favorable.
