I think he's finalising the ideas for Amerzone II, Syberia III and Still Life III.

That's great news! I love Sokal. If you can read French(or Dutch) I strongly advise you to pick up Kraa, Sokal's latest comicbook series. If not for the great story then just for the amazing art

Syberia 2 felt rather complete to me. Sure, the ending is open-ended, but I don't think it would be improved by continuation. I'd love to see him come up with a new plotline, though.

That's cool. Last time he made a great game was 10 years ago but there is always hope.

If it was Novemeber I'd say he's about to make some sour cabbage, but it's March now and I don't have a slightest idea.

If it isn't about Syberia 1 and 2 ports, i think Syberia 3 is now official:

Ah that's a shame. Syberia 1 had the perfect ending. Syberia 2 wasn't required... seems if they make ANOTHER one it'll just spoil the greatness of the original even more... kinda like Indiana Jones 4 But I guess I don't wanna judge it too much until I've seen it.

I'd like to see what he comes up with. It wouldn't necessarily have to be a continuation of Hans' story.

All these years poor Kate has been stuck in the frozen Syberian wonderworld, eating penguins and Youkis and unspeakable things, hoping and waiting for us to help her get back to the civilised world, where she will marry the first ambitious lawyer she sets her motherly eyes on, and have six children by him.

Oh, I don't know about a third Syberia. I feel the story was complete where we left them.

I never thought any of the endings really concluding the games. Syberia 1, they build up Syberia so much, yet you don't even get to visit the place. Syberia 2, you visit the place....ends in syberia. Its all and good, its just so obvious that there could be a sequel to one another.

Why I am excited about this? I really quite disliked all the games he has put out, strange, I must be a masochist!
