I don't remember the quote, but the names Gage and Genghis Kahn are screaming Legacy of Time.

I promise not to delete this post, no matter whether I'm right or wrong.

Nonsense. You indirectly replied to it AFTER I'd deleted it.

That's right. I wanted to do a quote from Arthur, and chose that quote because it wasn't googleable because they misspelled Khan, but then I forgot to correct it. Oops.

Hadn't noticed the misspelling until you mentioned it. I even copied it.

Another easy quote. At least, I think it's easy.

"No noose is good noose."

Isn't that one of those noose puns that April makes in Dreamfall?

Not Dreamfall. But I'm sure you have played the game, Luna.

Conquests of the Longbow? King's Quest VI?

(Seriously, I have no idea where it's from.)

(Also: noose puns in Dreamfall?)

Noooo... but your guess is a lot warmer than Luna's Dreamfall.

Hint:
Spoiler:
It's a Sierra game

As April you can look at the noose that hangs somewhere in that alley that leads to that prison (it's been a while since I played it). If you do so she makes those puns

I am still thinking about this quote...

Sorry, no.

New quote, from the same game of course.

"What's with this attitude where you're trying to take everything that isn't nailed down?"

Where does that saying come from anyway? About aking everything that isn't nailed down, I mean. The first time I came across it was in the manual of The Pawn, in 1986.

I don't actually remember any of the quotes, but I'm sure there must have been noose jokes in Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist?

Freddy Pharkas is right! Real nice game, and not just because of the puns. Had it for ages, played it this year for the first time.

Click the "talk" cursor on the noose and you get:

Hey, what's noose? How's it hangin'?
The noose seems to say: "Knot too well. Can't talk right now, I'm all tied up."

Tsa, I have played the Pawn, terribly difficult and unforgiving game. I don't remember the nailed-down saying. Perhaps it's some kind of standard expression in American English?

The quote was in the manual as one of the tips on how to play an adventure game. In the game, when you want to pick up the lead the dwarfs are trying to turn into gold, the game tells you: "You can't pick up the lead. It must be nailed down."

I have no idea if this one is easy or not:

"There you go. Bet you thought a mouse didn't hold that much blood."
