Default Needs some recommendations

Hi everyone.
I have seen there have been some recommendations before about Cyberpunk, Sci Fi or Detectives adventures I ham searching for a game which with some Evil Dead feeling or some Tim Burton type of game.

Closest I have got to this is an old PS1 Action Adventure game Medievil 1 and 2.
Then there is a Vampyre Story which comes pretty close as an Tim Burton type of game.

Grim Fandango? You probably know it already though.

The Medievil games are cool, I only played the first one though.

Guestion is who doesn't know Grim Fandango here? It's a great game no doubt
I recommend Medievil 2 because design and overall look is improved on that one.
One of the newer ones who got pretty close to Medievils is Evil Dead Regeneration which despite that it's movie licensed and is pretty short was pretty fun ride.

There are much wacky and fun games but there are not very much adventures which are in the vein of Evil Dead or Tim Burton.

A good detective with some evil in it is Sherlock Holmes: The Awakenings. For more gore you might take a look at Downfall. More obscure are The Void and The Path.
You could also one of these older titles:
Penumbra (dark, cyber punkish)
Scratches (suspence)
Sanitarium (surreal, dark)
Dracula Origin (detective, horror)
Post Mortem and Still Life (detective, thriller)
Culpa Innata (sf)

How about Maniac Mansion or Day of the Tentacle? They're oldies but goodies.

Culpa Innata looks interesting and I for some time wanted to play The Void because demo was interesting.
Penumbra was pretty good.
For Dracula I played some for PS1 and can't really say if that was good or bad but I played these pretty much.
Heard that third one is the best. Should try the demo and maybe will get some bit of a nostalgia wave.
Good game list but right now I am searching for some gothic-horror slapstick or gothic-horror with a humor.

And Maniac Mansion I really haven't played that one but I admit I watched TV Show in the 90's
Should try this out.

American McGee's Alice might be in a style you are looking for, though I've never gotten around to playing it despite how well received it was.

I don't know about Evil Dead, but as for Tim Burton, I would say the game Psychonauts feels somewhat Tim Burton-esque, with its warped character designs and offbeat sense of humor. See the trailer on YouTube here.

Since you know Grim Fandango, you might know Psychonauts already, though, since both are designed by Tim Schafer. Unlike Grim Fandango, Psychonauts isn't an adventure game, though--it's a platformer or a Zelda-like action/adventure.
