OMG it would take YEARS to finish all the games I bought in the last week. I've found other adventure games on steam. Tell us if you find more!!!

Jack Keane 4.99$
Ankh 2 and 3 4.99$ (for BOTH it's called the "Ankh Pack")
Ceville 9.99$
Culpa Innata 4.99$
Vigil Blood Bitterness 2.99$ (Puzzle Indie Pack, 4 games for 2.99$)
Dracula Origin 9.99$
Sherlock Holmes Nemesis and Awakened 9.99$
Runaway 1 is 4.99$ and Runaway 2 7.49$
Emerald City Confidential 4.99$

The Nancy Drew games are all on sale too (11.24 or 14.99ea) or you can buy the complete pack for 49.99

YOU CAN BUY THE Telltale Everything Pack for 49.99$ That's ALL the seasons Sam and Max season 1 and 2, Strong Bad, Wallace and Gromit, Monkey Island, Bone EVERYTHING for 50$.

I almost fainted because I paid 200$ and I still didn't played them. I should have waited.

Wow! I'll pick up a bunch of those today, simply insane prices. I'll start with Ceville and Culpa Innata - I've been waiting to play those for quite some time.

Looks like Broken Sword 2 is the only interesting one for me. Too bad, I was hoping for some price drops of secret files or chronicles of mystery.

Nice sale

As mentioned in another thread, it's possible to get both Machinarium and Samorost 2 and their soundtracks for a total of $10. The offer ends the 25th.

http://machinarium.net/blog

EDIT: Samorost 2.

Well, I have The Dig, but I guess I can't pass on getting Loom, and two Indiana Jones games for just 2.4€. That is, if I can remember my account details and/or get Steam to work again after, well, a long time.

(Edit): Downloaded, yay!

Should I buy Culpa Innata, or wait for Culpa Innata 2?

OMG

We should make Xmas twice a year. Twice? Each month would be enough.

Some of those Steam prices are nice. But I'm always worried about installing new stuff like Steam on my computer. If I download these games on another machine and copy the games over to another computer, I imagine I still need Steam to play them? How intrusive is Steam if I just decide to download it on my main computer?

thanks!

Its a small program that works on its own. It doesn't install anything to your computer. Just makes a folder called steam. It just works. It is FAR from being intrusive.

Its also VERY portable. You can install it onto a flash drive, and it will work. Though playing a game on a flash drive at all isn't recommended.

Yeah steam is fine. No problems, it's come a long way since the HL2 launch.

I love getting and setting up a new PC because I can drop Steam on it first thing, go to sleep, and come back the next morning to find most of my game library downloaded and ready to play.

Steam also has a backup function. I have all my games on a backup. You can just restore the games from a backup later and don't have to download them again.
This was very helpful to me when I reinstalled my machine with Windows 7.
