Only time will tell. Telltale's release patterns have differed between series. The Wallace and Gromit episodes have been releasing far earlier in the day than the Sam and Max episodes ever did.

I think i read on the Telltale forums that it may be released around midday. But then, that might've just been someone's guess.

Because S&M are very American, and W&G British?

I can confirm it should appear around that time. Pacific Time of course.

I for one can't wait until this workday's over and I can get home. Hopefully Tales of Monkey Island has been released by then.

The embargo has lifted so here's my review:

http://darkzero.co.uk/game-reviews/t...-chapter-1-pc/

Did my best to avoid any spoilers or talking about the story, as really this is what makes Monkey Island fun to play.

Also pre-ordered the game to get the bonus items.

Today is a great day.

I just scrolled down to see the score. Don't want to read any details until I've played the thing myself.

Same thing I did As much as one person's opinion counts for anything, it's a good start.

Just don't look at Shacknews

Their review was less flattering.

Was that the review that gave it a 6 out of 10? In any case, I've seen a 6/10 somewhere, but then again, it evens things out a bit. Perhaps 9/10 is a bit on the high side, who knows. And who cares really, as long as it's an entertaining game.

...

I really wish I wouldn't rather get the boxed set once it comes out than download it, but I do, so it's a long wait for me still... I just hope it really is released, soon after the last part (I'm looking at you Sam & Max S2 (though it appears to finally be released soon))
