Secret of Monkey Island cover-art half-sleeve! (in progress)
Hey guys!
Just thought I'd post this in case anyone appreciates this sort of thing... over the next two months or so this is slowly going to eat up the rest of my upper arm and be the entire Secret of Monkey Island cover-art (minus the text), but for now it's just Guybrush, Elaine, Jojo and Misc. Pirate #8754. Freckle-safe!   (will update as it progresses) and for reference:

That´s a cool idea! The canibal-part looks awesome... looking forward to see the whole piece!
I recently got my own Monkey Island tattoo, of Murray the evil demonic talking skull. I did it in Amsterdam, that is why it has the three vertical crosses incorporated. It is from Amsterdams coat of arms. It is on the back of my right leg by the way. |

saw this on the monkey island fans facebook page so I had to share my own inking project :3
Completely vintage adventure game inspired, only 9 hours in so far, plenty more to go before me and the artist even begin thinking about the background (though we have some ideas) Navigator Head from MI Manny from Grim Fandango Cave Fish gang member from Full Throttle Murray from CoMI 2 Headed Squirrel from Zak McKraken Secretly, I'm just glad to see I'm not the only one nerdy enough to get a point n click adventure tattoo series XD Absolutely loving the boxart project and the yellow Murray! |

Thanks heaps for all the nice comments! Very relieved people are enjoying this coming together as much as I am, would be terrible if everyone in the world hated this... and it was the morning after the second session that I found out about the release of TMI so it's just the greatest time ever to be a MI fan.
As for what's next I'm not really sure! I've wanted to get a Discworld series leg sleeve for a while but not sure how to exactly pull it off. I've got a few smaller ideas going down, I've still got about $800 more to sink into this arm (Australian Dollars) after spending $700 so far, so I'm just worried about scraping enough money together for this so far, hah.  In conclusion, Monkey Island rules and so does the rest of the tattoos in this thread. I was actually going to get the navigator head for a while as well! |

 AskMeAboutLoom, your Monkey Island tattoo is coming along nicely. Great work so far. I've actually been thinking about having Murray the Demonic Skull on my arm, as i'm planning on getting my very first tattoo soon. I have about 1-4 ideas at the moment. I want to have this first:  This will probably be my second and will no doubt please Andrea:  Murray, obviously, and then finally this one:
