Awesome! Thanks for posting that, I don't think I would've checked otherwise.

I hope it is as good as the first one, but with a better ending.

The game's release date has been pushed back to the first quarter of 2009. Somehow... I'm not surprised in the slightest. Considering we still haven't seen much about the game, that original November target release felt more and more unlikely to happen. But I remain highly optimistic and feel confident this delay is definitely for the better. Here's the official notice from a Microïds representative:
http://www.stilllife-game.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2 Besides, we have countless other AGs to play in the meantime, don't we? Or how about replaying the original Still Life while we wait a bit longer? |

Does anyone know if the original language for Still Life is French?
If so it might be worth a playthrough for me through the french version (I thought the french syberia's were way way better than the english).

I totally agree that the Syberia games were flippin' awesome in French. Françoise Cadol really gave a strong and inspired delivery of her lines throughout the story. To me, it seems she truly cared for Kate Walker. As for Still Life, I ended up playing it in English and enjoyed it greatly. The game was developed in Montreal, but I believe the whole audio department which supplied music, sound design, and voice-overs was KBP in Paris. Wait... lemme check the manual... Ok, well, apparently all five languages were recorded by different people.
Dangit! I'm so sorry, now you read this impossibly long post and I wasn't even capable of giving you a clue as to what language can be considered the "original" one. I'm so confused now. lol |

There is some new material + the opening cinematic !
http://www.microids.com/fr/presse/27...de-paloma.html (not yet on the English version) and here http://www.stilllife-game.com/en/sti...dventures.html for the intro video. Doesn't Vic sound a bit too French to be a "Chicagian"? |
