I haven't got a lot of time at the moment, but I'd certainly try and join an A Vampyre Story playthrough.

Sounds like Discworld Noir will have to wait until after A Vampire Story.

Hehe. I don't know if I can join this one, but I'll see if I can get a cheap copy of the game. For some reason I remember A Vampire Story receiving a mixed to negative reaction around the forums.

Ok, so it's a tight battle between DN and AVS, here're the votes:

Discworld Noir - 7 (inm8#2, calmoctopus, DustyShinigami, CoyoteAG, TimovieMan, SweetDalilah, inm8#2)

A Vampyre Story - 9 (TimovieMan, calmoctopus, diego, jasonlblair, skeeter_93, Siddhi, alcoatjez, MoP, PolloDiablo)

Now, i could take the gamemaster role for it and start the thread in next couple of days, even i'm still to finish it myself. At least, i know the first couple of chapters well, and in the meantime i'll complete it. Unless someone else has a better knowledge of the game and wants to lead it, or if DN gets more votes.

Cool. Think I might join this one, as I've just come off of two GK community play-throughs at the Sierra Help forums and enjoyed them immensely.

I'm still itching for a comedy, so I vote "Discworld Noire," but I can go either or since I haven't played either one.

I feel like most games receive mixed reviews around the forums. This is so much disparity in what people like in adventure games that this is inevitable.

Personally I thought that A Vampire Story was ok. Not great but not bad.

Ooh my first community playthrough! I vote vampyre story because I've been wanting to play it for a long time but I don't mind discworld either.

I'm not completely sure I'll participate, but my vote goes to Discworld Noir. I didn't care much for AVS, and definitely wouldn't replay it.

I had it working on a virtualbox machine a few months ago. didn;t have the time to play it though.

finally settled into my job, have some free time every other day. and this is near the top of my list. just hope everyone can get it working. (edit and there is a gamemaster)

No problem here with DN, although I voted for AVS. I just ordered DN, so it should arrive in a couple of days.

I have an extra PC dedicated to playing older adventures, so I should get it to work if Win7 fails.
