It sounds rather sinister, doesn't it? With a little of that "John Williams" vibe.
Unfortunately, all i have is a wild guess - Secret Files: Tunguska?

Yes, it sounds cinematic doesn't it? The setting is not sinister though.
It's looping music when you are trying to get out of a potentially dangerous situation, but even more lighthearted than Secret Files. |

I'm really curious to find out where that comes from. Either the composer is trying to make fun of John Williams' bombastic style by arranging every single one of his musical clichés in a single, delightfully-awful piece, and that makes him a genius. Or he genuinely thinks he's made a good piece of music and that just melts my brain. Either way, I want to know who that is.
But I have no idea. Random guess: one of the Runaway games; let's say the third. EDIT: And that's 3000 posts. Yay me! (It figures it'd be in this thread...)

Why not give him/her the benefit of the doubt and go for genius?
It's not a runaway game. The scene is on a small airplane that is under attack and you have to get rid of some weight to avoid crashing. Among other things you mistakenly ditch the fuel tanks and the scene ends with a crash in a new game location. |

Well... the beginning of Broken Sword 3, isn't it?

Eh, I had not thought of that, but it would fit the description too.
In this game that scene is near the end. The game is from 2007. |

Thanks, HandsFree.
Alright, I was having some trouble uploading this so I put it on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRuiVbeKk6Q Should be easy. I have a question for you guessers - will it be okay if I use music from freeware games? While they are not as well-known, their soundtracks should be easier to obtain. I even have enough for a medley, but I don't think many people will be interested. Last edited by Shany; 04-16-2012 at 10:54 AM. |

Wait, that sounds incredibly similar to this Al Emmo theme!
So, unless it IS Al Emmo it's probably some Sierra title. As for freeware games, i'm fine with it, though they would be much harder to guess, since less people played or even heard about them, especially if you're to make medley solely of freeware titles.

It is indeed from Al Emmo.
You are right about the problem with Freeware titles. Even the more famous ones tend to be quickly forgotten. I probably won't make a medley of just freeware games, but they might feature heavily in one. |

I agree with this. I think it'd be fun to have some freeware titles as part of a medley, but apart form the AGDI remakes I doubt I'd be able to recognize much.
