Coolness! By the time some Japanese speaker graces this thread with a visit, Babelfish "translates":
Quote:
The world where it has the atmosphere of modern English pitch with detective ones as for stage corporation success, this spring, sells "Rina adventure touch detective Ozawa" for ニンテンドー DS.
(something tells me "ニンテンドー" is "Nintendo" )
Quote:
"Rina touch detective Ozawa", true to its name the "touch" doing the touch screen of DS with the touch pen, says that it keeps explaining the case mystery numerous, it has become the adventure game. The player, becoming Rina girl detective Ozawa of the new rice, aims toward the incident solution, keeps doing the investigation and interview.
The beginning asks for a dirty joke , but I suppose what we have here is an investigative adventure game Ă* la Phoenix Wright.

Do we have reason to believe the game will be translated?

There are a lot of Japanese adventure games that never make it over here (unfortunately).

I see the killer from Scream got a desk job.

This game DOES look incredibly cool. Maybe Capcom will pick it up and publish three whole copies of it again.

It's named simply The Scream (alternately, The Cry). Check here: http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth...nch.scream.jpg

Now that you brought that up, the similarity cannot possibly be a coincidence. Good catch.

Looks really sweet, I hope it will get an US/PAL release.

I was under the impression that Phoenix Wright sold pretty well?

It migh have sold well, but there are no more copies sold anywhere, and the European release has been pushed from March to July, so I don't know what is going on...

Yep, what Kolzig said. It would probably STILL be selling well, except that no one can find it anymore.

I hadn't heard that. Nintendo Europe's media intranet site still lists Phoenix Wright as 31.03.2006.

Hmm, well I hope that turns out to be true because I'd like to play the game as soon as possible.

Marek, see this thread for more of the story.

I have looked in a bunch of shops and it's not in any of them around here. Truly weird.

You wouldn't believe how many adventuresque games are out in Japan you've never heard of. OK, one of them is soft porn. Er... but the DS here is so much more than a "games console".

Most of the killer apps here are educational - teaching English/Kanjii etc. Shame that idea hasn't picked up in the UK, I'm sure DS's would fly off the shelves.

I feel like I recently read about an upcoming UK release of something like this. Can't remember where I saw it, though. I'll try to find a link.

With so many weird japanese titles getting released over here, there's a pretty neat chance this might show up on US/UK shores.
