Adventure game scene… uh, game (continued)
Hmm. It’s not The Path, is it?
The parrot and the Phoenician are both incorrect. Try again.
Another wild guess: Firewatch?
No. Hopefully this can let you make a more educated (rather than wild) guess:
Painscreek Killings?
Never cry for something that can’t cry for you.
Donuts McGee seems to be missing in action, sorry.

I’m here, it’s just the guesses haven’t been very… correct.
For those scratching their heads in confusion, I hope this will help:
We’re glad you’re alive and well.
As for this game: I didn’t play it and I don’t remember I’ve ever seen the pictures you posted. The times when I used to spend days trawling through screenshots to earn a point in this topic are long gone.

That makes two of us, although I did see screenshots posted here when it was released.
Luckily, it’s not the type of game you need to have played to guess. Some clever person should be able to deduce what it is from this dialogue, combined with the other screens.

Whether correct or not, wildly hopeless or not, common courtesy says that you respond. Even if you’d rather ignore me others could well be waiting to see if I was correct or not before trying for themselves. Politeness costs nothing bar a very small amount of effort.

Unfortunately there are not many clever persons visiting the thread in the middle of summer holidays.
My guess would be: Henry Jekyll: The Hare-Strangler from the Sherwood Forest.

Yes, true. I read your post and thought I’d wait for other replies before replying, but forgot. I’m truly sorry.

I think you just insulted the Southern Hemisphere denizens of the forum, who have no such excuse!

I must have that game.

Hey, I insult people on both hemispheres all the time! I make no exceptions.

From the way the character is dressed, I think it might be a Sherlock Holmes game. I’ll guess The Testament of Sherlock Holmes.
Think like a proton. Stay positive.
No, I don’t think there is anyone named Henry in Arthur Conan-Doyle’s books.
