20 mins till Xbox press conference.

Spike has shown some Drive Club and that mordor game? Both look fine.

Tals to the new xbox guy who teased a new small game from a new studio that will come up about half way through that would have orange lights on stage???

Is he hinting at a Valve game….portal 3.

Amazing show, CoD looks CG, Ascreed looks like i have to push myself at all cost to play the game even i hate series, that art and engine.

Inside touched all soft,right points.

Reached a point where Hollywood CG fest movies are pretty useless.
Them engines that power are now playable.

Platinum game looks killer fun too, i can predict what kamiya will do with those
monsters, it will be epic action game.

M$ didn’t leave much for Sony, very hard act to follow especially considering actual 2014 releases.

And my best was Sunset Overdrive.

Only con was no Halo5 gameplay Debut.

BTW: Another TR revealed on GT to be guardian of light 4 coop rehash.
Also Homefront2 gameplay demo was awesome, again CG levels.

Microsoft

90 mins of pure games.

Starts off with the usual

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare

- Lots of cool tech to play with.. Jump Boots, smart grenades, a drone swarm (very Matrix)
- Looked nice (Out Nov)
However looked very typical CoD and didn’t blow my socks off.

Forza

- New race track immediatly for Forza 5 (Nurbugring)

Forza Horizon 2

- Set in South of France
- Great Dynamic Weather with Day/Night cycle- looked great in the wet etc
- Creating clubs of 1000 members
- Open World
- Out Sept 14

Evolve
-Not my thing, but it looked pretty

Assassins Creed Unity

- Create your own brotherhood
- 4 Player Co-op
- Massive Crowds and inside buildings.
- Looked interesting

Dragon Age 3
- More Dragons
- Nice Graphics
- Out in Oct

Sunset Overdrive
- Mad trailer which took the mickey out of cover based shooters
- Usual Insomniac weapons
- Colourful as hell with fast Jet Set Radio style traversal
- Liked the Comic book style sound effects
- Out in Oct

Dead Rising III Super Arcade Hyper Alpha Edition
-WTF is this DLC that allows you to dress as all of the Capcom characters in Dead Rising III
- Available now.

Fable Legends
- Team up with 3 other heros or play as the villian.
- Looks like Dungeon Master meets Fable
- Lots of Quippy Dialogue that might get old soon.

Project Spark - Now with Conker
- Not my thing. Needs a creative person to make these games

Ori and the Blind Forest
- Ehh??
- Weird Side scrolling platforer

Halo

- Halo Masterchief (1-4 in a new remaster package)
- Comes with TV show and Beta to Halo 5
- Not a lot of Halo 5 stuff

Now for 2015 stuff

New Limbo creators game that looks just like Limbo (4 years to make that-Ha Ha)

Rise of the Tomb Raider

-Nice CGI trailer
- Looked nice but no gameplay

Witcher III
- Gameplay hunting a Griffin.
- Looks fantastic

Phantom Dust

-?? never heard of the original game

The Division

- Looked fantastic in a purely scripted demo
- Would it be as good with those other players being your mates.
- Did look a lot of fun though.

Scalebound
-Exclusive Platinum+ game
- Monster Hunter with a Dragon on your side ??

Crackdown
- Rebooting Crackdown series
- Looked Saints Row like
- Cell Shading and cartooney.

Overall a safe conference with nothing standing out as being a huge surprise or something I’m dying to play. They seem to have a lot of faith in Crackdown.

It was a far better conference from them. My only issue is with the games.

Most of what they showed isn’t an exclusive. Sunset demos well, but need to see more. After that, Project Spark was the only one that I found interesting. Which is also on PC…

Boring show. Only thing interesting was the platinum game, but everything was leaked. No surprises. Some indies looked good.
Boasting exclusive DLC for numerous 3rd party multiplatform games…

Think we’ve found a contender for the cringe moment of E3. That woman talking about the sims…

EA in line for worst presentation of 2014.

A lot of vague conceptial BS with tours of their offices.

Star Wars Battlefront

-The Early Footage looked great, but showed bugger all.

Dragon Age 3
- Not sure about this game didn’t really play 1 or 2.
- Looks great visually.
- Assembling a team and choices being forefront.
- Dragon Fight was cool

Mass Effect 4
- More conceptial office BS
- Didn’t tell me or show me anything

Sims 4
-God that went on forever.
- Sims not have emotions.
- Sims 5 will get sentience and take over the world

Ton of sports

UFC - Bruce Lee for the win.
NHL 15
PGA Tour 15 - Battleships on your golf course ?
Madden 15 - EA word of the day was new emotions in you games
Fifa 15 - More emotions

Unnamed Criteron Game
- WTF was this very early protoype
- Open world pick up anything and race it?
- Cars, Boats, Planes, wing suits
- Weird that this was even here

Dawngate
- Moba
-Meh!

Mirrors Edge

-another developer talk with conceptual footage
- Looked just like the first one

Battlefield Hardline
- Cops and Robbers Battlefield
- Looked dreadful

Dreadful conference.

I didn’t catch most of the EA conference but from what I’ve read they only showed concept stuff of the new stuff - Star Wars, Mirror’s Edge, Mass Effect. That’s uninteresting…
I did see the neverending footage for Battlefield Hardline, didn’t look very hot.

Edit: Reading Lucien21 summary I’m glad I didn’t watch it Smile

Just don’t enjoy it too much or you might die.  Tongue

Will Inside be an Xbox One exclusive or did I misunderstand that?

Nope. It’ll be on others too. Like a lot of the games they showed, it wasn’t an exclusive.

Timed exclusive.

EA > after Masseffect i fell asleep, thanks EA for that i needed one for Sony show.

DragonAge IMO just shat on Witcher, the gameplay improvement and Cast looks
epic, the music everything, they have decided to comeback really strong after
Dage2 disappointment.

What i didn’t like that Frostbite looks samey, the forest of Starwars and sections of
MassEffect looks exactly like Dragonage one. Its like UE3 syndrome.

GT Spike Alien isolation gameplay demo was nuts, i think we are good with 2014 titles.
Flamethrower revealed to troll Alien from attacking
